We're gathering here our pictures from before, during, after. Eventually this will be the place to look for our official wedding pictures; for now, it's got our engagement photos.
For our engagement photos, we went to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens just before the Sakura Matsuri (Cherry Blossom Festival). The festival is an annual tradition we've attended every year that we've been together. Our friend Lisa took the pictures for us.
We are, in case you weren't aware, Geeks. We love fiction, dorky television shows, and will wrap our lives around a good narrative. As we were thinking about cake toppers, we realized that we had too many fictional couples that we wanted on top of the cake. Harry Potter and Hermione Granger? Or Odo and Kira from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine? Oh, the choice!
Then we realized that with all our talented artistic friends, we could have our cake and eat it too... and so we made the table centerpieces. Here are all the pics from all of the tables, including our own.
Our official photographer is still working on our photos. When he's done, he'll give us the high-res, digital originals, and we'll post versions here for you. We (will) have full rights to them as long as we (and you) don't sell them.
We took a lot of photos on our honeymoon in Maui. We've pulled out just the most interesting (to us) and will be posting them on Scott's site soon.
