Liminal: Nightfall
Having grown up in the east, I find the west has a way of breaking down divisions I have in the way the world works. In this picture, it's getting well on toward night in the valley, while it's still pretty light up on the ridge where the sun still faintly shines. The moon is out, and prominent enough to be lighting the clouds, but some of the clouds are still as bright as in the day. You don't get this much among the shorter mountains and tree-laden wilderness of the east.
