Well... had to dodge demons on the way in, then had some hassles in the closed level with doorways that intermittantly stretched off into some other place than the room on the other side of the door. Were starting to look a bit boxed in by the demons (another big one and various flunkies) but library turned out to have a baelani guardian - a blue glowing *dwarf*, of all things. V. proper, and yet not. Was being turned on and off by demons mucking about with Gate control system upstairs. But he eventually managed to summon help - an army of Hound Archons. Great to finally get some good guys coming in from Outside after all these demons. And was truly celestial sight watching them march in... heroes of old come back to defend the world. Was honored to see it. A couple distant ancestors in there, even.
Also Rhodocros, temporarily setting aside stupid cursed Enmity to fight the good fight.
Anyways, eventually stopped gawping and ran out while archons engaging demons, grabbing a few more books on the way, giving us our books on fuel pack recharging, dreaming, and Gates.
Matsuko and Kesiana said big Dreaming rip seemed to be ripping further, so argued a bit over risks and went back to grand hall to deal with it, half of us in Dreaming supporting M. and half out on guard. M. was having some trouble so Kesiana handed her a feather and she got it fixed just fine. Only K. turned into a crane and flew away further into the Dreaming. Huh. Have no idea what was up with that. M. seems to be sighing a lot; hope she hasn't picked up cave lung or something.
Some poking around in the apartments around the edge of the city found us a lightly-blocked tunnel out, so made it out of the city by late afternoon, leaving demons behind believing themselves trapped and abandoned by Emsariel, in Korenn's reading. Hope they don't wreck the place too much.
