Crossed city partway, found big tower to hole up in for night. Just happened to be surface residence of last Silver clanfather before cataclysm. Took Parna and Dizyk with me to retrieve Argen's Chain, traditional clan symbol-thingy. Trap dropped very large blocks of stone out of ceiling that turned out to be earth elementals bound to guard since cataclysm. Doh. Spoke for clan, thanked them for their long service and released them to go home. Couple gems, signet, and bracers with chain. Will have to check these out further.
About to leave early morning when Kesiana, of all people (elf pretty-boy from way back in Delving) waltzes by door. Went out and confronted him - v. suspicious - took him with us to library. Coming out of tower through entry, set upon by hideous acid-oozing demons. Could corrode our weapons away with a touch so sensibly fled.
