Emergency is the opposite of necessity. If only use a technique when dire you will never learn to use it. I put my mask back on.

A river flowing, has been reborn in many - not just silver clan in general, but something specific. Not sure I understand what yet - could sense some of my questions had very long answers, and was there with a goal, seeing the path ahead. Told me things - a tower on its side, my enemy is there. Emsariel, I think. Merkul and Perridhol have moved. And I let it take me to show me - caves of water and fire, the silver city, Nothoreadel beyond. Maybe Delving carved with magic but such a fair shape! And the creation of the Guardians, or what became them... it was like I saw the First Age.
And then so many questions, when I came back, and so hard to answer. Not trying to keep secret but more personal than hoard and just *more* than day-to-day. Like why won't Masters teach secret techniques - is not just a matter of teach or not, the words won't say.
[Click on image for larger version. It's worth it.]Next day had to bribe earth elemental for passage with little sparklies - "sweet rocks" - then Parna paid fish people a rope and some rings that night. Passage under water, and wanted use of their sodalite breathing stones to back up druid's breathe-under-water magic. Passage v. unnerving - was *in* *water* - but reminded self that had seen silver-clan in water caves and if they could I could. Still had to be towed. Unclear how humans moved - sort of pushing off of water - and Parna like some sort of crazy water bug thing. Way faster than should work in water.
And now into the Northern Bastion - dondar-built guardpost into Changing Ways. Lots of little rooms and no clear way through so far.
