Deafness wore off and Grettir didn't say anything about Sirak (Parna), so things okay there for now.On through the tunnel. Hitting some natural caves now, even still growing. Moving slowly to let Parna rest - later on Quicksilver magicked up a floaty seat for him. One bit of tunnel corkscrewed around walls and ceiling - down always down, but surface rotated around. Quite odd feeling the whole world overhead and the surface underfoot. Smooth piece of work though... Uncle Heuland would love to build something like that if he could work out how to hex in the twist. Don't think the others even noticed.
Were ready to halt in a warren-y bit but remembered one of the halls just half an hour on. Lovely work in the hall, carved and inlay - bit startled by the big doors being wood. Warned people off until we were rested up - figure boundary of some importance, even if not section-jump. Ceilings all magicked up to look like night sky with stars and what - apparently different places including where Parna's from, he said. Couldn't make much of it myself, something kind of funny about them. Quicksilver thought they might be for weather-watch.
Wanted to look for Barg in Dreaming again - woke up there to see ghost-snake-things wrapped around Parna and Dizyk. Did seem to be able to hit them and Quicksilver magicked at them and between us drove them off - Grettir, on watch, meanwhile appearing, saying "oh shit", and vanishing - then human woman wearing plants stepped into clearing. Told us we should leave and made for Parna before I could get in the way - I went to wake up for real and get Parna awake and out, then we were all waking up and the plant woman was there in the room with us. With a giant wolf, like, really flaking huge, like a horse-sized wolf.

She was from somewhere I'd never heard of, hadn't meant to follow us back, didn't know and hadn't seen Wind. Wolf same sort of friend-thing as Kanton's big cat. Mutual non-killing intention established, I went back to sleep. Next morning - stupid surface folk not even sure it *was* morning without big sun to check - more questions while waiting for Quicksilver to magic up. Matsuko, apparently a Druid, not with the Ermery dream mages, speaks some gabbling language same as Quicksilver. Not much on people but as I couldn't give her directions out, along with us for now.
Opened doors after inspection - same blast scars as in hall with enslaved dead - to find *plants*. Roof in there magicked to look like daylight sky (roof of big hall still showing stars) and lots of big green plants growing under it. Not nursery-neat either... of course, plenty of time to overgrow. Big crack across a ways down, looks to be a pain to get across unless we can get up to balconies. A bit too pat... Druid shows up and we immediately run into plants... but would be my luck. And if she's trained to work in Dreaming well worth a few plants, if she'll work with us. Unclear yet what she's after.
