Note to self: when they say "for sale 1 keep, 6 br, lg ktchn, old rel mtng rm w/scrt psg, dn w/shd", the dn is probably not a den, the shd's neither a shed nor window shades, and the mtng rm is not for gatherings of your elderly relatives.So, yes; found a chamber in the basement with a long tunnel to outside the keep walls and statues that the Sage says have to do with the old religion, particularly a cult into storm and weather magic and the goddess Shi'ar'ran (hm, ring any bells?), clearly set up for secret ceremonies. Have asked Lucan to tell Shiarra and ask her to come check it out - perhaps multitude of unrestful spirits will be more responsive to her. Also found dungeon, inhabited by a ghost who wanted to play skeleton (animated the bones, but also other things) and a Shadow which drained most of Barg and Ideh's strength before we could get out. Druid flashy-light thing did seem to hurt it pretty bad though. Sold Illendi knickknacks for cash for healing. Are planning to go back in and try to take out Shadow, other bads; have talked to Sage and done some shopping (magic medallion-thing is supposed to prevent strength-drain), and are hoping to maybe hire some local muscle to round out numbers. Hate fighting these cursed ghosts - want something can *hit* - but will be satisfying to rid keep of such wrongness.
