Is the Church valid? Is the Church real? Strangely, yes. In the past, to establish a religion, there had to be a definite and traceable string of events involving miracles, revalations, organization, building, spreading, and acceptance. Only then would a religion be defined as "valid." But in today's world, "a long time" is a year and acceptance is measure in concrete numbers--in this case, web site hits.  But even that is not neccisary anymore. Simply because this web page
exists, the church exists. It's odd circular logic, but it is accepted as truth in society today. Simply because someone has a web page, they exist. If you deny the existance of the church, you deny the existance of, say, Suck. There is nothing physical to the church, but there is nothing physical to many, many things today. Hyperreality has replaced reality. TV shows are a more constant frame of reference for most people than experience, and sitcoms are even more temporal than this site. At least the content stays the same and can be accessed at any time; TV shows are gone as soon as they are shown. Validity is defined simply by existance. Thus, the Church is real.
